Terms and Conditions

All sales are final

There are many opportunities to communicate about changes while the commission is in progress (colors, placement of elements, etc.).

Once the commission is finished and approved, there will be no refunds.

Revisions

Typically, I will send the client a photo at each stage (sketch, line art, base colors, shading, finishing touches, etc.) and allow for revisions at each of those points.

This means there are at least 4 to 5 opportunities for revisions (but probably more)

Payments

Payments must be sent through one of the approved methods

PayPal
Venmo.

If you are local, cash or card may also be an option - No checks.

Price must be paid in full before receiving the final artwork.

Pricing

Some projects (like pet portraits) have set pricing tiers, others (design, watercolor, etc.) are priced hourly.

I will provide an estimate once the client has given a detailed commission request.

Cancellations

Sometimes things happen and you have to cancel and while I understand, unfortunately, I will still have to charge a fee to cover the time already spent on the project.

If the client cancels prior to the stated delivery date (agreed upon at purchase) there will be a 25% cancellation fee.
For cancellation within 5 business days of the delivery date, the client is responsible 100% of the fee and any expenses incurred.

Artwork usage:

Images or scans of commissions (in progress and finished) may be used by SqueakySketches for online promotion of sales, events, and commissions.

SqueakySketches reserves all rights of reproduction and copyrights of personal commissions.

Personal subjects (individuals, pets, etc.) will not be reproduced.

Personal commissions may be used as:

social media icons
profile photos
prints/decor in your home or business

Personal commissions may not be:

sold or used as NFTs
printed on products for sale
credited as your own art

Additional Information

What to expect

The client will fill out a short form with information about the goal or vision they have for their commission (linked below in the example images).
Client must fill out an artwork usage agreement - this helps us have the same expectations for how and where the artwork will be displayed, whether I can resell it, how and where the client wants to be mentioned/referenced, etc.
The artist reserves all rights of reproduction and copyrights of personal commissions – personal subjects (individuals, pets, etc.) will not be reproduced.
Art created for commercial use will not be reproduced for sale.
Commercial commissions may be used by SqueakySketches for online promotion of sales, events, and commissions.
